Rhubarb Bomb proudly represents Wakefield in the far reaching Indie Internacionale. It regularily produces and distributes a free fanzine featuring all manner of Indie related goodness, creates podcasts and promotes gigs in the city, its greatest achievement being the creation of Long Division in 2011.

In April 2012, Rhubarb Bomb celebrates its 5th birthday by releasing a compilation featuring exclusive tracks from Wakefield bands of its lifetime, including The Cribs, The Research, The Old House, The Spills, Runaround Kids, Piskies Sits and many more. It will be released alongside a limited edition book, featuring articles old and new, exploring Rhubarb Bomb's journey from photocopying handmade pages to curating a sellout festival.
